The KCGIP Bioinformatics LAUNCH Program is an immersive experience for students interested in pursuing an advanced degree in bioinformatics and genomics. Students accepted into the program will:

•    Receive round-trip travel to Eugene, Oregon, along with private accommodations
•    Get guidance on the graduate school application process
•    Connect with current students and faculty
•    Attend the Genomics in Action Conference
•    Tour the main UO campus, Knight Campus, and department facilities
•    Network with like-minded peers
•    Explore Eugene

Applicants for Bioinformatics LAUNCH must be juniors, seniors, or professionals planning to apply to the Bioinformatics and Genomics cohort starting in Summer 2025 or Summer 2026.

*We are only able to provide domestic flights for participants. Selected participants will be provided with domestic transportation, lodging, event meals, and access to agenda-related activities.
