Students gathered at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Eugene campus in August to test their networking skills with professionals. Hosted by TFS's Women's Employee Resource Group, the session gave students a chance to talk about their backgrounds and experience in a company setting and learn about the different functions and positions in a large organization. TFS employees donated their time to talk with students and make connections. This was the first in-house company networking event and Stacey York, director of strategic partnerships, hopes to partner with other companies to host similar events in the future.
Thanks to Dana Richcreek of Thermo Fisher Scientific for organizing the event.
